First of all before I get into this post, wtf is a 545 kick off!? Neighbours doesn’t even finish by then!
If you are at work you need to sneak out or watch 2nd half in a pub nearby (unless your WFH or work for yourself I suppose). You could finish early but in my profession it would look bad. Maybe I can not have a lunch break to compensate #firstworldproblems
Must be annoying for Dad’s with kids as that’s prob the time they go to sleep.
Anyway, I digress but UEFA need to sort it out.
Back to the game, I don’t know about you guys, but I have fond memories of playing Salvia Prague in the CL. They are the team we played when Henry beat Ian Wright’s record and when Theo Walcott scored a hattrick against when we won 7-0 or 7-1 at the Emirates.
Main question is how many players would you rest? Carabao Cup style of a mix and match team? Would you risk Gyo when we got a tough game v Sunderland on the horizon?
I do think at the minimum start fresh full backs, rest one CB and let Nwareni start from the beginning. Merino and Gyo maybe do a half each. Noorgard is playing anyway as Zubi is suspended.
Win here and it will not only continue our momentum but ensure we effectively qualify out of the group stages with 4 wins out of 4 and takes out the sting of our hardest game in the next GW - Bayern at home.
