Palace are a very well coached and organised team. They’ve taken points off Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool and Bournemouth this season. So important we got the three points. Wasn’t pretty but with our close rivals all dropping points we had to win this.
Tactics True but then you also need to see how teams play against us, set up nasty low or mid blocks and their whole game is to frustrate us. These days teams are much more organised and well drilled so no matter how good you are it’s very difficult to break down. Being good at set pieces has unlocked something in this side, teams can’t just sit back and rely on that alone. Gives us something to break the deadlock and so far this season once we get ahead we shut the game down.
