We’re going to play the dreaded Sunday - Wednesday - Saturday schedule which managers hate but luckily we managed to rest a few key players last night.
Last season did we ever win 3 games in row in the prem? We need to get a run going as Liverpool have some tough games notably away v Chelsea after our game with no Allison and potentially no Ekitike. We must continue to put the pressure on. I can smell blood and we need to take advantage. Liverpool won’t always be this weak, it’s time to capitalise.
I would play the same team as Sunday but bring in Saliba for Mosquera and Odegaard for Trossard. Ode can play number 10 and Eze LW. The alternative would be to drop Zubi, get Rice to play number 6 and have Eze and Odegaard as number 10 and 8 respectively or vice versa. Might be good to try this v a low block.
As we know, last two seasons West Ham have beaten us at home. In 2023 it put a massive dent in our title hopes. Who knows, if we won that game we would have won the title. Last season it was the final nail in the coffin.
Fuck West Ham. One ask was I had going into this season was putting last two seasons wrongs into rights. We have beaten Newcastle away which is good and now we have to follow up by beating West at home.
They may have a bit of a new manages bounce but no excuses, this is must win. We need Gyokeres to score because if he doesn’t that means he’s gone 8/10 games without a goal and that’s not a good look. Ode to keep up his recent good form.
