Tam I can only speak to my own feelings and whilst I'm grateful for the fact we're a serious side, I'm concerned with the indicators so far this season that our attack isn't functioning all that well. We shouldn't need Odegaard against Port Vale. I don't know whether we intentionally lacked intensity because we didn't want to over-exert ourselves but to achieve an xG of 1 against a side who will be battling relegation in League One isn't great. In isolation, you can accept it due to rotation and other factors but it's representative of the whole season in that we've laboured to break teams down.
There's still time to get our act together but we have to go on a run of dominant performances soon, otherwise the external pressure is (legitimately) going to get more intense.
