Managed to get a last min ticket. A few post match thoughts:
1) Madueke is a baller and is prob better than I thought he would be. I’m not sure how he can leave the team even when Saka is back which is the highest compliment I can give him. Man’s on form.
2) The players were hungry today, ran around like men possessed. They didnt let a 12.30 pm KO post international break affect them. They were professional. This is what I like to see. This is what ultimately wins titles.
3) How did we only get Mosquera for £13M. Bargain.
4) Victor G looked like a different player when he scored.
5) Merino won a lot of duels and generally positive display.
6) Still didn’t like Martinelli’s body language when he came on, looked a bit defeatist.
7) Having Eze on the left is so refreshing, first time I’ve seen a guy beat his man on that side for about 2 years.
8) Elliot Anderson is Forest’s best player.
9) Zubemeni MOM. What a goal!
10) Would make about 5 changes for mid-week (ie White for Timber, MLS for Cala). We need to ensure we keep the squad fresh.
