RocktheCasbah Freddie chipping Schmeichel was always a favourite too. Think those fucking ogres had pulled down Vieira just a few minutes before too when he was free on goal. Nicky Butt wasn't it? Never was a man named more aptly. That chip felt like sweet justice.

tazmania I don't think it's been boring at all. Teams come here and try to sit and frustrate, Arteta's teams are not the first to struggle with this.

Good first half. It's a bit disjointed at times as these guys haven't played together much, but the forward moves in general has been much more slick, funny that when you more players with a high level of technique in the attack.. Gyok sticking out a bit like a sore thumb in that respect, good box movement though.

Eze has been decent when on the ball, need to find a way to get him more involved..

Good performance so far but there's still no connection between the front 3, which I suppose is unsurprising given they're all new

decent half, but man we are so ingrained with right side bias. eze and gyokeres need to roamed that left channel more. one of the reasons I found gyokeres appealing is he had a tendency to drift to the left side to find space, but he hasn't done that much in his starts so far

Klaus yep, there’s an implicit bias ingrained in the team but also someone like Eze will have to force the change himself. In fairness he’s probably only had 3-4 training sessions since he joined the club

Mirth Yeah we'll just have to see how it turns out. I think Champions League might force the issue a bit too, you have to be more flexible there.

A few more goals definitely needed please. But so far so good.

Madueke is a one man chance creation machine so it's no surprise we're still right side heavy, we are producing very little combination play. Hopefully that will come as the new signings to get to know each other.

Tactics

It's kinda worrying we don't seem to score opening goals through combination play, we are overly reliant on set plays.

Tactics there's been some good combination play, but not consistent yet.. I mean how many games have the front 5 played for Arsenal, let alone together.. not much.

Forest are still a well organised side as well to be fair, Ange hasn't had a chance to screw that up. Finding the space to create chances was always going to be tough today.
