Qwiss I think it's a good thing Eze hasn't learned the role. Let him play his "natural" game and let others rotate around his positioning. He knows instinctively when to hold on to the ball and dribble vs when to release a pass. The chemistry he had with Mateta is good foundation for his potential chemistry with Gyokeres even without "learning" the role and rotations, as Gyok still makes the instinctive forward runs into space (as Mateta did). Now we have someone who might instinctively try to pick him out, and that's beneficial in my view. Before Arteta cudgels him into a complete control ball automaton.
