Don't mind how this has been done by Arteta.

Eze is likely not yet ready to start in our system and it is good not to rush Ødegaard back. It's a bit grim, but pressing effectively and locking Liverpool down is a huge factor.

It's also a big occasion for the lately often harshly maligned Madueke and Martinelli. Both have the chops to change the outcome.

We've got everything we need to win this. Bit weird having a bench full of creators and fewer on the pitch, but let's see.

Klaus The relative weakness of their defense in no way implies that we need to play a more attacking/creative XI. Anfield against this Liverpool team is probably the toughest match of the season. You need physicality, pace, intensity. Get the game under control, win your duels. Then take your chances to exploit that weaker defense.
