I think the season still needs to end with some reward for that, but it certainly feels the most exciting one we've had given the sheer number of additions. The money spent has to lead to something big or there will need to be questions asked.
Certainly feeling a lot more excited about the season than I was yesterday!

Dom Good call when it resulted in a double that season, although technically not a "window" as I think the transfer window came in later and you could still sign anyone at any time then.

Dom Anelka signed February 1997, not in that summer. We did get Luis Boa Morte in the summer though. 🙂

Eze makes a massive fucking difference you have to say. I liked Mosquera but couldn't even bring myself to acknowledge he's here when we signed him because we again prioritised a defender over everything else that was needed. And now we only signed probably the most important missing piece because someone in a different position got injured lol, this club.

Either way one of the best windows in a very long time.

It's a 8/10 window until the new players justify their place in the team. They could turn out to be useless anchors that fuck us for the next 5 years
