Realistically Trossard will go next summer so we will need to replace him. Martinelli also is another who I think will need to show some serious improvement this season or we will need to consider his future. He’s been good recently but needs to keep that going.

Eze will get plenty of games, already showing what he can do as our No.10 and rotate and play LW when needed

Who drops out the XI? Eze, Ode, Rice or Zubi? Because Saka isn't dropping anywhere and CF is either Gyok or Kai. I doubt any of the other 4 will be on the bench more than a game here or there when they need rest so unless we plan on selling one if them I don't think they'll be hanging around for a squad role.

But like I siad, Semenyo would be exciting. If Arteta can sell him or any of the others a squad role we'd be seriously packing. Wouldn't put it past him either, he has a way of convincing players.

We've already got 3 options at LW (Eze, Tross and Martinelli), 3 at 9 (Gyok, Kai, Jesus), 3 at RW (Saka, Madueke, Dowman), 2 at 10 (Ode, Nwaneri), 2 at 8 (Rice, Merino) and 2 at 6 (Zubi, Norgaard). Selling Trossard and Jesus is the bare minimum for keeping a reasonably happy squad. Martinelli will probably go before too long and have his place taken by Madueke/Dowman. If we want Semenyo then we'll probably need to sell Nwaneri too

Pepe LeFrits it’s simple. Next summer sell Mart and Tross and bring in Semenyo.

Or better yet in Jan by perhaps selling Tross for now.

Given the number of games, I don't think 2 players per position is enough. There's a greater likelihood of injuries as we've seen already and more opportunities for everyone to play. Trossard/Martinelli on paper would have been 3rd choice but they've already played so much.
