Even without him, they still have Salah, Ekitike, Wirtz and Gakpo.. If they don't walk all over Burnley, i'd be surprised.
Sicario2 sounds like Slot said it was a choice rather then injury related.
awooga83 in one of the replies below to the tweet I posted, AFCamden replied reporting it was an injury but he’s deleted it since it seems
awooga83 maybe he wants a move.
Sicario2 yeah he's not a very reliable account he regularly posts speculative stuff now days.
Reckon he's just unfit as hell after four months off the boil. Saw some training footage from the Swedish national team and his ass was hanging out when he tried to run, looked a mess when he came on against Kosovo too. Still seething that Tomasson selected him when he hasn't played or trained since last season, especially when he left Lindelöf out for the same reason. We're not a fucking reserve side who organise sessions so Liverpool can get their players fit.
Klaus
Wasn't he training with Real Sociedad, how can you be mess after training with a team. Playing one game a week is easy. A game every 3 days you have to be an elite athlete.
Speedster I think he trained with them for like a week but they had their own preseason stuff too so he wasn't that involved, and then went back to Newcastle and just did gym work on his own. He always takes a long while to get going when he's been injured though and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same when he's unfit. Think Liverpool will get a disappointing season from him relative to their expectations.
Kerkez hooked before half time. Burnley attacking him constantly and looked a massive liability. Been booked for diving too.
Bradley on for McAllister at half time. Injury precaution i guess.
Salah looking muted.
Off the PEDs?
MistaT That, or he's 33!
You could see this becoming a problem from february and onwards too but nobody talked about it back then because they had the league sewn up. Him aging out on them was always going to be Liverpool's biggest issue and I don't think they have solved it. For all their spending they didn't sign anyone who's half as good this summer.
Was going over the City-Utd lineups btw and didn't realise that Marmoush had torn his ACL. When did this happen?
Klaus it happened during the international break, but tbh I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere yet that it's a torn ACL.
See the refs are doing their part.
Burnley just had a man sent off. There is only about 10 mins left, but this is set up for a late Pool goal now.
Michael Oliver doing his best for Liverpool now.
If Liverpool score now I'm going to be angry. Churn it out Burnley
tazmania I put some on them right now, so it makes it easier when it happens
How much extra time do think they'll give them? There's been minimal stoppages so I'm guessing 6 or 7.
