Chatting to a scout of a top 2 premier league team he said they swapped mostly to analysts now. He's allowed go anywhere in the world. I always thought they'd have a more defined area. But they chase specific talent now.
Interestingly he said we signed who we felt were their top 2 analysis from Manchester City a couple of years ago. I suggested you can't beat scouting for getting the feel of a player under pressure. Like you can have good passing stats but in the 10 minutes of the game where you lose control does that player panic or keep calm. He looked at me like I've got 2 heads suggesting the stats show that, but he was too polite to correct me.

He said Sesko to ManU. Obviously not his deal but he seemed pretty convinced. Mentioned Isak, I thought they'd have given Isak a number at the start of the window to say you can go if we get 140m otherwise knuckle down. It seems like a mess for them now. He said Isak was very unhappy with their business this window and needs to move. So it was a last minute decision by him.
