I doubt Ødegaard is gonna be fit enough to start for a few weeks anyway and by then it'll be easier to drop Trossard I reckon. He has deserved a start against Bayern.

flobaba should start heavy rotation for the mids IMO. December is always mad so rotate hard in midfield, early subs for the attackers.

flobaba What width does Trossard provide? We've already shifted our shape since last year when Martinelli was the preferred option out wide to provide 'classic' width to Trossard playing more as a left sided forward.

Don't look at today's game in isolation but all the games that Eze's started centrally, he's better off being in the front three and close to goal rather than the middle. Eze - at his heart - is a moments player. Whether it's today or against Palace - give him a role which gets him close to the moments and let Rice, Zubimendi and Odegaard create a podium for our front 3 to shine.

Anyway when Ode comes back he will start but he and Arteta need to see what Ezes don't and push Ode up where he can combine more with the forwards.
