He barely touches the ball during these substitute appearances. Doesn't seem to have a clear idea of how to either start or get on the end of anything in our attacking setup.
Admittedly that's similar to Gyökeres or Merino, so it doesn't make for a special harsh criticism.
It's more that it doesn't at all fit the fantasy of Eze receiving the ball somewhere in the 8–10 areas and either lifting a delicate chipped assist to a runner, or banging a goal in himself. At present Eze gives every impression he'll get or create even fewer of those sorts of opportunities than Ødegaard.
