He'll play on the left tucking in. The LB will provide the width to pin the opposition and create space for him inside. Arteta will be forced into playing this way sooner or later.

exactly. none of our fullbacks are good enough to where you tell eze of all people "go to the touchline, so this dude right here can have free reign as an inverted fullback." and it's not just our fullbacks, none exist. if they were that good they wouldn't be fullbacks.

Pepe LeFrits yeah I think Trossard starting there is a signal we aren't looking for that width any more. Eze will be great there now he's a bit closer to 100%.

Class act. Biggest gain in the team will be Arteta figuring out the best way to play Eze and Odegaard together.

Doc when we are playing 2 games a week Rice and Zubi should be getting some rest with Ode and Eze starting together as 8s.

sometimes he's on the margins of the game, but when he gets involved its high impact stuff. today showcased what he can do when playing in central areas. really encouraging performance

I haven't seen Arteta shout at a player so much in a while. I saw it on 3 seperate occasions, telling him to shift up and press. Odegaard starts over him in the 10. Eze goes left. Team is set from there

1 of my fave players still so happy we signed him. Just what we needed in attacking midfield.

Eze, Ode, Saka behind a striker will be a joy to behold. A throwback Wenger teams of the past but with much better players behind them.

And if we need to changes things up? On come Martinelli, Trossard, Madueke, Nwaneri and soon Dowman. Insane attacking depth. Let's not fuck this up - we have to win the league and/or CL.

Beautiful performance, and I love how he keeps attacking centrally. No interest in going wide - and it led to plenty of chances. Unlucky not to score and assist one.
