For what it's worth, there is absolutely no way that Conte could have done what Arteta did at Arsenal.
It's taken a far greater endurance and humility than Conte possesses. Conte's the guy you might bring in to replace Arteta (although I'd hate to see it happen because I personally can't stand him). He's not the rebuilder.
As for Henry, I don't believe he dislikes Arteta at all. He's a pundit, it's his job to create the emotional engagement now circulating around this thread. In this case Henry's only said a bunch of obvious stuff with which almost everyone agrees.
As far as the assessment of Henry's managerial failures goes, has there ever been a player with a greater tendency to rebuke his own team during matches? The humour of it almost used to ease the tension of a bad day watching us. But that's not the daddy any boy wants.
For a manager you might prefer a creature like Arteta, a turbo weirdo who had the formative humiliation of going from being flanked by Iniesta and Alonso at La Masia to going on a decade of scrapping at Rangers and Everton. If he has paid his dues, that's when it happened.
To me Arteta's a guy whose managerial career is the attempt to get back a bit of the blood and fame taken from him in those days. And by the way, at Arsenal Arteta was the indispensable linchpin of the Wenger XIs he played for.
