Klaus How has Saka been doing on penalties in the last few seasons? You reckon it's a big thing for him to give up?
Like USArsenal says he's missed a couple (e.g. vs Real in the Bernabeu) but I don't think it's about that. My gut feeling is that Saka takes penos for us mostly out of duty, I mean, who else is going to take them? Odegaard? Havertz? Rice? Whereas Gyokeres is a guy who will take them because he desperately wants to. I saw Gyokeres was asked in one of the intro videos 'hat trick hero or last minute winner?' and he chose hat trick hero. I reckon Saka is more of a last minute winner type and won't mind Gyokeres taking over.
Plus I think the club will want to do everything it can to ensure Gyokeres has a habit of scoring regularly for us, which hopefully he'll do anyway, but adding pens on top will build a sense of inevitability around him which will help us.
