DiabyKungFu You spent all summer talking about how he's better than Isak, going to outscore Erling Haaland and he's "too good" to play for Arsenal.
Can't remember the Haaland bit, but if we're treating goals scored as the salient objectivity here, Isak's got none this season.
That said I don't think Gyökeres is better than Isak nor will score more than Haaland, and I don't remember anyone except Klaus approaching such claims.
Klaus is a master of entertaining hyperbole, it's not as if there's merit in trying to flog him with the refutations of poetic formulae. That would be as perverse as filing suit against Romeo for claiming Juliet was a giant ball of fusing hydrogen and helium.
I do remember the 20 league goals yardstick—I think that's fair enough. I thought Gyökeres would make that mark pre-season provided he started all season.
