That touch he had when Raya shot it to him like a laser was impressive. Didn't know he had that in his locker. I imagine he's been training that. I don't mind the few touches, but he really did not have any half-chances either or much involvement in any threatening sequence other than the Saka bicycle kick. And that was some pass too.
I agree that he needs a run of games. A sub appearance at the weekend and a start against Ipswich and let's hope he can find some rhythm. The hate is over the top and hard to understand - he's the back up striker this year, not going anywhere, and we'll need him to win things. He showed he can score so don't see why that would change, especially with a firing Ode.
