He’s not a misunderstood superstar but like all attackers he obviously is better when you get the ball to him early and he isn’t surrounded by 75 defenders. Apart from scoring those goals he was also really good in the combination by the way.

There is definitely a player in there worth persisting with. He is no superstar but he will give good returns for what we paid if he plays nearly as good as he did today.

I think what he has shown in 2026 most importantly is that he has the IQ to make up for his technical deficiencies. He loves to link up with minimal touches.

the first goal was great, but the second goal made me feel like he's really rediscovered himself. the 3 touches before the finish were taken without any sense of second guessing. he knew what he wanted to do as soon as he got the ball and didn't flub his lines

Two top finishes today, well done. Thrives when there is more space, which spurs gave us plenty of and we rarely see.

Shrugging of the the defender for the second goal was encouraging to see as he has really struggled with that all season.

Whatever he did in preparation for this game please continue. Most of his struggles have been mental imo. Need to kick off from here and finish the season strong.

His best game for us. Was a good all-round display. Two good goals (including one that had a meaningful impact on the game) - we need to see this in more games for him to be considered a long-term option for us.

At least one, if not both, of those goals are destined for the pre match video at the Emirates. I thought there something quite Piresian about both of them, but particularly the second one.

Sicario2 A lot better now that our £60m striker is starting to put in some performances.

He looked a lot better today, Spurs defending was shit but there have been plenty of times this season where opposition have been poor and Gyokeres hasn't take advantage. I said it months ago, he isn't going to be a game changer against top sides but he needs to be mowing through the lesser sides.

Like Eze today, cannot be a one off thing he has to push on now.

While limited, this bloke can hit a ball hard and accurately and executes that cut inside onto his right when in the left half space quite well. If we could get him into those positions more often, he may end up being more useful yet.

I think this guy is going to cook for us in the CL knockouts when he has space to play and run into. Some of his flicks around the corner today were great and he was making some great runs. More of the same please!

That said, we probably do need an upgrade in the summer but that doesn't mean he can't be useful for the remainder of this season and as a 2nd choice ST going forward.
