Think Madueke looks a great signing so far. Love that he always looks to beat his man and you'd back him most of the time. It's only a matter of time before goals and assists will come.

He needs to vary his play so he comes onto his left foot more often. He struggles to dig out an accurate or correct final cutback or cross from the by-line with his right foot, and the space gets reduced to fuck out there.

Matching or getting close to Trossard should be a minimum in my view. I'm not demanding that he has to become the next Dembele to be considered a success, but he should be matching Trossard's output. He's getting lots of opportunities to deliver a final ball or take a shot on goal but is so far fluffing those moments. The stage is there for him to become very productive.

Okay then, so long as we're applying this stringent standard to Eze and the rest of the forwards. Trossard is pretty much the most productive substitute forward in world football.

He has very little end product so far but in general looks to be promising. Certainly light years ahead of the back ups we had last season.

Yeah. I'd be extremely disappointed if Eze and Madueke don't get to around 15 G/A each (obviously dependant on minutes and fitness).

Qwiss bit harsh to judge them the same. Eze is the superior and more experienced player and Madueke whilst playing now is effectively a back up so in theory will be playing less games

Trossard also already has a goal and 2 assists this season and he's barely played. Matching his output seems reasonable for the player ahead of him in the pecking order.

Output is what Trossard is all about though. His all round game is not something people rave about but he always gets his goals and assists. Always found it weird people want him sold, these kind of squad players are priceless.

Nobody wants him sold for the sake of selling him. Other clubs are much better at selling and will use this as an advantage over us in the medium term. We bought lots of players who be worth little or nothing by the end of their contracts Gyok, Eze, Zubi. if we're going to keep up the big spending we'll have to sell well and selling trossard at his age when we have essentially replaced him with signings could be fruitful in the medium term.

Speedster I think it's more that we don't have enough reliable end product players so I understand the logic on needing to move people on and him being in frame but right now the reliable output in the team is such I don't think he can be let go. Of all our players he's been able to deliver and that's what we desperately need to take that final step.

He needs time to settle in more, he's great at beating his man but he's not finding anyone after he does. Hopefully as the players gel and get to know each other more it'll happen for him. With Saka back now it'll probably help him if he can take a little less responsibility and come on late against tired legs for a while. Although I'd probably give him a run out vs Portvale as I imagine he'd terrorise them.

He beat his man and pulled a nice ball back towards the D where one of our ‘8’s’ (fuck me) should have been to have a shot in the first half today. No one there. His end product needs to improve but I also think that the team isn’t reading some of what he is doing particularly well either.

Where you see him ie first team player v squad player is how you can judge him. For me as a squad player he’s exceeded expectations even though he can work on his end product.

I think he can be super effective coming off the bench against tired defenders. We haven’t seen that yet.

Ok, and now that Martinelli is playing that role, how come you don't give him more credit, considering he does that and has end product. Is he not exceeding expectations based on the above?

Big Willie bro you need to allow this weird insecure obsession with Martinelli.

I’ve already given Mart credit (twice) for his recent goals. Doenst mean the last two years are forgotten about. I would actually love if I could eat my words over him. A proflic Martinelli is nothing but good for Arsenal.
