Can’t wait to see him play for us. Gives us something different.
Sicario2 ha. Cut inside. Shoot.
Superb player. Understands angles so well, and has an appreciation of his own angle bias too
i questioned that headband before because i was wondering if he lacked confidence in his appearance (hairline), but his hairline is fine and he only wears it when he's playing football. so cool. maybe ode and cala should start wearing headbands so they aren't so focused on their damn hair and worry about producing/staying on the pitch.

Dula will be relieved.
Rolls eyes.

Quite an in-depth look at him, be warned though one hell of a long read. Haven't read through it myself just yet...
JazzG I can't deal with his essays. Not sure how anyone can!
Ask Ai to summarise
There was also a first look at Noni Madueke, who came on to replace Gabriel Martinelli on the left, with Arteta making it clear he sees him as an option on both flanks. “I think Noni, when you ask him, he’s very comfortable playing right and left so if we want to have inverted footed players, we can do that,” he said. “He’s a real threat, I wouldn’t want to play against him and we want to find something else and playing with natural-footed players, he’s going to give us that solution.

More and more I'm convinced the club see him as our new starting LW. They knew that when they got him in.
HomeSteak he will be starting at OT on the left for sure.
I thought he actually looked bright yesterday but you just know he will frustrate at times so I guess we got to be patient. Anyway as long as he doesn’t let his head drop and continues trying I won’t give up on him.
HomeSteak well actually, scratch that can't like this post so unliked.
But yeah, it's what I've felt as soon as we bought him for +£50m. No way he was bought as a bench player for Saka, on merit or otherwise.

I doubt it. He was clearly no where near fit yesterday. Seemed to be sent on just to get a cheer from the fans.
Sicario2 Anyway as long as he doesn’t let his head drop and continues trying I won’t give up on him.
Until you read some tweets ripping into him I guess.
Also how do you write that and not realise it is describing Martinelli at his worst to a T.
As long as he is just like Martinelli, then.
Qwiss he will play majority on Sat I would suspect plus another week training so should be good to get at least 60 mins v United. Anyway, he’s been training on his own even during his hols and his last competitive game was only a month ago in the CWC.
Sicario2 I'd be shocked if Martinelli isn't in the first XI at Old Trafford. Madueke has to get fit and learn to gel with the team. I expect Madueke will be coming off the bench for one of Martinelli or Saka for the first few games.

Agreed here. Arteta doesn't tend to immediately throw a new player in even if in his mind he's the new first choice. Even Ramsdale was given a few games at the start befire he was dropped permanently. Just hope that isn't the case here.
Coombs martneill has been disappointing for 3 years. This guy is a new signing coming into a new team. I rather cut him some slack than the Brazilian chicken who never looks up
Didn't realize @Big Willie beat me to it.
