We are massively short in attack and with Trossard looking like he is on the way out we need to add variety and if they think he is the right person for that then they should sign him. If it all goes wrong then they also need to own that and take the shit they get on the chin.
Fans also turned on Ramsdale when he joined, thought Ben White was shit and you just need to look on social media to see the shit some of our fans spout. Madueke is not some bum that he is being out to be, he is a decent player who is only going to get better. I do accept the fee is too high and am hoping there is a heavy add on option with a lower base fee.
Now if it was a question of Madueke or Eze then that is different story, he's clearly being bought in to compliment our attack while we also sign other players. Lets wait until the window closes before we get too carried away abusing the club.
Dom Because we suffered an injury crisis, which is why we are making signings like this to make sure our players don't get run into the ground again. Two seasons before we had injuries but nothing like last season. We had a our entire front three out for a good spell, no team is going to cope with that.
