Tam Well our transfer business in recent years has helped drag us from 8th to competing for titles. Last summer was probably the real let down in recent years which has put us in a position where we need to compensate this window.
The transfer window hasn't closed yet, we've just passed the halfway stage and have signed Kepa, Zubimendi, Norgaard, Madueke with Mosquera probably to be announced within a few days. That is a pretty damn solid start if you ask me. Addresses key holes in our squad. Have lost both our CMs and have replaced them, replaced Tomi, needed a reserve keeper and needed a versatile attacking player to add to our depth.
Leaves us needing two positions now to sort with 6 weeks to go in the window and this will be the best transfer window in our entire history. Was the expectation we would have 7 players signed by now ? Gyokeres his club are making this messy and with Eze we either pay the release clause or we drag this out and get them to lower their demands so it fits in our budget. We also need to work on selling some players now as well.
