Gyokeres, Madueke and Leao would transform our transition threat. We'd finally have the thing we lacked the most over the past few years as a huge strength.

I hope Berta has a hard on for Leao like he did for Gyokeres. I'm sure there were reports earlier in the summer about Leao being an option.

Mirth Only issue he has is he doesn't take the whole tracking back and defending as a team thing seriously. Which is why he's able to spring out on a counter quickly, and is generally deployed as the outlet ball. Otherwise he's a top player, top winger

Problem with Leao is he goes through patches where he just can't be bothered and looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. When he's on it though it's great to watch. Maybe Arteta can fix that , maybe it's too big of a risk

Not into Leao. If you look at winger wishlists of the top couple of dozen targets we might go for in Europe, he's the least defensive-minded of the lot.

Not the top criterion, but to be that far back in the field when it comes to pressing work rate is a red flag for dressing room harmony, not just a cost on the pitch. No passengers or luxury players please.

We definitely need to work those lapses out during preseason. Happened too often last season. Even though we didnt concede a lot of goals, they were always when were dominating and then got sucker punched. Our defence should be able to handle that
