I'd bite your hand off for either, Simons fits the bill as an alternative to Martinelli and possibly an upgrade.
I can only imagine Eze is our preference because (a) he's PL ready and (b) his age profile is less likely to act as a potential blocker to Nwaneri.
From my perspective though, until Nwaneri claims that spot in the squad, I'd be happy signing Eze or Simons.
