Qwiss don't necessarily disagree but his passing has come on quite a bit since then and if it means we can field 2 creative 8s, it still might be worth a shot if nothing but to try something different.
In isolation it doesn't seem like a massive issue but we have systematically gutted the teams technical level and central creativity over the last few years and it has all become too much. The technical level of this team has become terrible for a elite side and that is a big reason why we just rarely win games comfortably any more, every game is a massive battle to assert our dominance as we don't have any other solutions

Jesus/Havertz to Gyok
Zinchenko to Hincapie
Party+Jorginho to Zubi+Nørgaard
Now I'm sure some can argue that individually one of/some/all these player are better than those before them but that is not the point. Trading players with technique/creativity for dominance or whatever the fuck this has become has gone way way too far..
