our best changes under arteta have been forced through injury. maybe zubi can get that declan rice bruised knee and miss a game and maybe arteta doesn't break him. that's the only way norgaard will play in the premier league. i need to see him in the premier league because i'm not convinced the performances that i've seen are the result of poor opposition.

Mirth I know exactly what you’re getting at. These goals are rarely, but more often for us than should be, a result of an individual error. They are a series of failures across the team. Poor pressing, poor passing, poor blocking, poor keeping. Take any link out and the chain breaks but all too often we are too far from what we should be in the whole sequence.

You just know Anderson and Rodgers are now top of Mikels shopping list. Roders would be great, imagine him with Dec and Zubi, the work rate would be insane and Rodgers has that final ball too.

Rogers is definitely someone who I would love to see, said in the summer would have taken him over Eze but Villa will be hard to deal with.

I’ve seen Rogers several times live. He’s very loose on the ball. Not sure he’s what this team needs. In terms of replacing Odegaard I’d be tempted to put faith in Nwaneri and maybe bring in a prospect like Biden or Mayulu

daredevil you don't need Odegaard and Zubi for control. And we haven't really looked any more controlled with Ode this year anyway. Best we've looked was with Havertz in that position and he's hardly the king of controlball either. What he's good at is pressing and being in the right space at the right time. Things Rodgers can do even better.

no thanks to the poor man's bellingham.

zubi has hit a wall since the turn of the new year. id expect as much for guy who plays a high energy style coming through his first English winter. even rice looks fried, and he's almost a veteran of the league. I've seen enough from him to know he's going to be huge for us moving forward

Rice and Zubimendi are both fantastic players but our manager doesn’t understand that they need a rest once in a while

I just wanted to say a word or two on Zubimendi - People don't understand how it is to completely go to a different league and be that omni-present for a team competing for forget the top 4, but for 3-4 trophies till March

I can assure you that Rodri from my memory had a mixed first season

Zubi for me has been one of the best first team first year signings I've seen for years
