RowJimmy Sicario2 Madueke is coming in to compete at best and the same would go for Eze, despite his quality it's not like he walks into the XI on paper.

Despite what people are saying we've been doing an amazing job tapping players up. We've kept our costs down on Zubi and Gyök by making Arsenal the only club they want.

Sicario2 the problem with him is not his skillset. It's that the moment he extends his contract he'll be off to the nearest ward recovering from a busted ankle/hammy/should/whateverligaments.

Sicario2 he's not good enough. We've seen it time and time again with him. He'll look great in these little snippets in pre-season or the league cup or something but he's nowhere near Martinelli and Trossard in reality.

I’m gutted by how it’s gone for Nelson. Didn’t like his game as a youngster, but then all of a sudden he reached a new level physically. Looked inches taller and was too much for opponents to handle. The BallSlap era. Then injury struck and maybe some mindset changes kicked in and he dropped a level or two.

Can’t see him recapturing that mad athletic level as when it goes it goes.

est Gyo, Havertz, Jesus, Merino (?) is pretty good depth for up front.

Numbers wise the wings are ok but if we could improve Martnelli then we have a real chance of winning something major.

You could argue Ode depth but we got Ethan and Havertz that can play there.

Depth wise good now just that last bit of quality (Eze) and we’re good to go imo

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert I've been doing a little bit of tinfoil hatting and wonder whether the Gyokeres signing may do a number on his confidence and form which, as we have seen, can fluctuate quite a bit.

I think it's hard to complain about Havertz/Gyökeres up front. Main questions are LW and then whether Øde can get back to his best.

CPM the lack of cover for Odegaard is the biggest issue. We'd all like an upgrade on the left wing but we still have 2 players there who can contribute a lot and when added together we get plenty of G/A from the left. I have faith in Odegaard to come back to his best form if he stays fit but what if he takes another knock? Do we have enough to win the league if he's out for a couple of months and off form again while he recovers? I firmly believe a big part of his poor form last season was never getting a real chance to recover from his injury because he was pushed back into a full schedule. If things are tight at the top again you know Arteta will do the same in future unless there is genuine creative quality to slide in instead of him. This for me would be the biggest bonus of signing Eze.

Qwiss Eze would upgrade LW and give us that crucial option in the middle, in one stone.

That’s what I like about Eze. He can play left but you can also re-jig the formation and have him the creative force.

Qwiss yeah, in an ideal world it would be e.g. Barcola plus Eze... But this is Arsenal.

Qwiss I think Eze will force Arteta to adapt the system a bit to be a little less rigid. With Eze and Gyökeres you suddenly have great dribblers who can create for themselves in the attack which makes the football less predictable and also less reliant on a midfielder having to do something outstanding, or a winger picking someone's noggin out with a low-percentage cross.

Can critique the quality of the players we're buying but don't think you can complain about the numbers.
