Honestly, Jesus ain't been great. If he had then people would be rating him a chance to do something useful this season. He still might, but we aren't even thinking about it.

Don't disagree, but up until he got injured at the WC in his first season, he was fantastic for us and really elevated us. He was a lot more than decent, just look at his thread back then.

He was great on the pitch and off it. Really intelligent guy. He's had a few big knee injuries now so he's half the player.

Sicario2 Eze is 100% needed, that signing completes our attack. I've been arguing all summer that the LW signing for me is more important than the CF.

Tbh I’d be disappointed if this squad doesn’t win the league. An Eze/LW will seal the deal.

Don Pacifico someone will give the excuse that new signings need one season to bed then in. He'll get one more season

Sicario2 lolz. We're likely going to finish the summer with 6/7 new players to add the first team squad. For a team that's finished 2nd the last few seasons, that kinda outlay has to be expected to get results. If not, it's a bit of a flaw in squad-building.

JazzG Eze is not exactly a top 20 player in the world. He's going to help us but he's not going to be the differential.

Mirth also not really a left winger so while he's exciting he's more a player who can cover multiple positions at a high level than a nailed on starter.

For me the Eze "allure" is as emergency cover for Odegaard, and to a lesser extent for Rice. I only say "lesser" there due to the difference in their roles.

Nwaneri isn't ready to carry the Odegaard replacement load, and I'd prefer Eze as our right 8 than Merino.

MistaT we are not paying £60m for an auxiliary player. He is not a ‘nice to have’ cover player. He will come in as our main LW.

I think £60M is a very good rotational player, starters (particularly on the attacking end) begin around £75M. Zubimendi is the only locked on starter among our recruits. Rodrygo if we go back in for him.

RowJimmy Sicario2 Madueke is coming in to compete at best and the same would go for Eze, despite his quality it's not like he walks into the XI on paper.

Despite what people are saying we've been doing an amazing job tapping players up. We've kept our costs down on Zubi and Gyök by making Arsenal the only club they want.

We're not signing anyone as an 8. Rice, Ødegaard, Merino, Nwaneri, sometimes Havertz. It's already quite crowded.
