Whilst I agree with your overall point about the strength of our squad (it's deffo very, very strong) for the love of everything you hold sacred, the Gabriel slander needs to stop @lorddulaarsenal.

Thank fuck Kiwior is leaving otherwise somehow he'd also be listed in tier 1 with Calafiori (dunno how he got in there either).

For me I'd probably say Gabriel is one of our 3 best players with the only other certainty being Saka. After that it'sa bit of a toss up on whether Saliba or Rice get in. Everyone else is a level below or more.

Big Willie The Gabriel slander is insane everywhere. I was reading on reddit a conversation, and people were convinced that with Hincapie coming in, Gabriel would be lucky if he gets half of the minutes he got last season.

JazzG This looks great. You can see Hincapie is needed for another option on the left. And you can also see MLS's path into midfield here, because he would be very suited to one of those double-pivot roles, which is where he ends up a lot of the time as an inverted fullback anyway.

Pretty much every defender we have bar Myles is comfortable at CB.

For the wide spots we've Saka, Eze, Madueke, Martinelli, Trossard, and Dowman. Realistically there's only going to be enough game time for 4 players and for this season the first three have a lock on game time. I'd fancy Dowman to make the fourth spot his before too long as well.

no we don't need anymore players. what is the point of using city's total when pep is crying about how he needs to get rid of players so that it doesn't damage his squad's morale. only 18 can be in the squad. signing players just to make up the numbers is how you end up with deadwood on bloated salaries, you're paying a tax to make a guy feel more comfortable being left at home.

Definitely need another centreback as only Mosquera is at the level to cover Gabriel and Saliba. Sure others can play there but we’d not be the same.

Left wing quality is needed. Probably means an addition as we won’t shift Martinelli or Trossard at this stage of the window
