Cygan and a 38 year old Keown were our backup CBs.
A 17 year old Clichy was our backup LB
Fuck knows who our backup RB was, probably Toure, which had an obvious flaw
CM was solid with Vieira, Gilberto, Edu and Parlour but for the four attacking positions we only really had 6 players until Reyes came in in January. Hence it wasn't unusual to see Edu, Parlour, Gilberto and occasionally even Cygan getting minutes on the wings
