Will be interesting to see if we pull the handbreak or just play him the way Barca have with Yamal. Yamal's first full season with Barca started when he was 16 year and 29 days old, Dowman will be about half a year younger than Yamal was when the season starts so it's not inconceivable he plays a similar role in 25/26 to what Yamal did in 23/24. For Yamal - he started the season coming off the bench quite frequently and then nailed down a starting spot from around Jan/Feb before going to the Euro's with Spain and being the best player there. Will be interesting to see if Dowman can match this trajectory.
