The only player to play EVERY Premier League game.

The only player to play every single min

The only player to be consistent throughout the season, no injuries, no real dip in form.

Gabriel could have been a contender but missed too much of the season. Rice also a contender but only got going in the New Year onwards.

Saliba played all the games too but his form post Gabriel injury not been great

Therefore, for me, Player of the season, I present you David Alfredo Raya (yes I may have just made up his middle name).

Jurrien Timber really should be in here. Would have been a brilliant season by any standards, off the back of his ACL injury I think he's been remarkable.

RocktheCasbah I agree. I would like to see Timber and MLS here. And if we have space for a 6th, even put Saliba who held central defense together and played the most outfield minutes of anyone.

Yeah, I mean one argument against MLS is it's really only been the second half of the season we've seen him make an impact on the pitch, but clearly the impact he has made is huge.

I was thinking of Timber also. He really showed us a lot this year. And if he can come back healthy next season, with (hopefully) a stronger squad, we will really see him shine.

That said, i have to go with Big Gab. His missing presence was felt massively when he went down. Kiwior has filled in very well, but the connection with Saliba was not the same.

Tam The tail end of this season has aged him 20 years in advance. Brad Friedel looked more youthful.

Raya, Gabriel, Timber, Rice. Went with Gabriel, but it speaks volumes not one of our forwards has been good enough or fit enough to get near even thinking about slotting them into a short list.

Raya has been amazing. He's been worth every penny of the £30m we paid for him, especially given the £18m we somehow obtained for Ramsdale. Long may it last.

Had Big Gabi not gotten injured, he would've been a shoo in.

Gabriel. Saka second for me despite being injured for quite a while.

Raya in the first half of the season & Rice in the 2nd half. Shout outs to Gabriel and Timber too. Saka has also been great even though he's missed a large chunk of the season.

Gabriel easily for me.

Obvious impact on our defense, and his passing improved noticeably this year.

But he was essentially took on a second job via our set pieces. Without him scoring so frequently we’d have lost or drawn quite a few more games. Our offense was mediocre this year and he stepped up massively.

Gabriel/Timber/Raya/Myles.
