Pepe LeFrits he wont be 100% until next season. A couple of months on a sun bed and he'll be fine.
HomeSteak most full backs get caught out regularly. It comes with the territory. Timbers quite underrated.
JazzG Reckon he isn't up to speed yet,
Hopefully.
Pepe LeFrits -- forget White, how about Partey getting dusted over 50 yards when he was given a 10 yard head start?
😂
commentator focused on Gilberto and completely missed the absolutely dapper looking Djohann sat right next to him.
Djourou going for that 2000BC pharaoh look I see.
I remember Djourou having a period of top class form when partnered with Koscielny, but then he got injured and I think that coincided with our typical season collapse.
He then faded into Arsenal irrelevance of course.
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert Remember when Djourou and Senderos were suppose to be the future? Fucking hell this club man!
I was the Arsenal Chelsea game just after Christmas 2010 when we absolutely mullered them in one of my favourite ever Ems experiences (everyone was pissed and super up for it) - Djourou kept Drogba very quiet indeed that night.
RocktheCasbah that game in particular sticks out in my memory. We were awesome that night and I remember Djourou putting in masterclass.
I had hopes he'd kick on to become a Rio Ferdinand-esque centre back.
JazzG Senderos, Eboue and Flamini hold the CL record for the longest run with clean sheets!
They were good players but the team was in so much flux that they didn’t really thrive beyond their talent
JazzG they both had heaps of potential but didn't realise it for different reasons.
He was really talented. Another one ruined by injury.
Gurgen Back then a mixture of dirty tackles and our ancient training methods ruined loads of players.
I remember when folk were labelling Senderos as the new Tony Adams. Turned out that he didn’t have Tone’s level of game intelligence. Phil was daft as a toilet brush
Not quite Denilson levels of low mind you
Senderos was a throw back. He was a 90s defender in a 21st century game
