Mirth I’ll never forget how when I was living in States they shut down the biggest football podcast there because the host had the temerity to suggest that their fans were partially to blame for Hillsborough. All he said is they were rushing into the stadium and pushing. Didn’t absolve authorities of responsibility. They threatened him with death en masse. And this was before social media became warped.

Qwiss I think a couple of years after he said this, the commission exonerated fans - highlighting police, stadium design, and emergency response as responsible. Ended up missing this game as well. How did we play? Read just before they scored we were pressing well, got 3v1 and somehow missed! Then lost the plot when we went 1-0 down, good recovery to get back into the game. Shows character

Liverpool have proven to be more consistent than us but I don’t think they are better than us, they had their first XI out and still couldn’t beat us at their own place. We’ve played them twice with weakened XIs and they’ve not beaten. They’ve managed to keep the core of their squad fit and we have not.

Don Pacifico didn’t see today’s game. Was visiting family then came home to see us 2-0 down at 35 minutes. Decided to walk the dog instead.

However what you’re saying to me points to a lack of courage and conviction, mainly from Arteta but it’ll also extend to the players. We’ve seen players take the easy out far too often this season. The tactics might be conservative at times but we need personal accountability too. Much easier to come back from 2-0 down at Anfield when there isn’t much riding on the game.

Tam judged purely on Arteta's post-match conference, his perspective is that the players didn't follow instruction in the first half. As RtC alluded, seemed genuinely annoyed.
