Also a fan of Welbeck never would have got past Man U at OT in the FA cup quarter final without him.
He's still doing bits for Brighton too. Aged like a fine wine.
Panda Welbeck was one of those players who was pretty bad when he played but who's legend grew while he was injured. "Oh if only we had Welbeck", then he'd come back, do feck all, get injured again, rinse and repeat.
RowJimmy Yeah it is a wild 1 but if we are languishing in or around 8th at Christmas which isn't beyond the realms of possibility it will be incredibly toxic and maybe the players will start thinking they can't be bothered with him and his ways anymore haha.
Really I just hope we are in a title race at Christmas.
RocktheCasbah I think Ospina had a good World Cup with Colombia so we were quite pleased with that signing. But then he played for us and showed he couldn't command a matchbox let alone a football one.

I remember one game against PSG I think it was when he absolutely destroyed every one of Cavani's shots.
There was a tweet at the time that went something like
Cavani angrily threw his shirt into the dirty kit basket in the changing room, but oh no, he comes Ospina who gets a hand to it to deny Cavani again & it's ended up on the floor.
😂
Qwiss Welfeck
Qwiss
The longest back swing in football.

I remember this bloody period. Had to keep reminding people Welbz was a joke striker who scored 1 in 5 when given starts leading the line for years on end as well as being made of glass.
Big Willie 😂 was that for us or his club before (Nice, I think)?

Nah it was a game we played against PSG I think it was when Cavani seemed to be thwarted again and again by Ospina for us. I think Cavani may have scored 1 but he kept missing chance after chance after chance. I think we got a draw which was a good result to leave with tbh because we were battered that game.
Big Willie remember it well, was aghast at how a team containing Santi, Ozil and Alexis could look such a shambles. But Alexis burgled a goal for us.

Wasn't the best of time to be an Arsenal fan those days, have to say. We were well out of our depth a lot of the time.
Sicario2 gave him the corner office? Looks more like he's just been stuck in a corner. Weird photo.
Is he allowed to do shit like this while working for Arsenal? Side gigs?
flobaba probably the equivalent of a non exec. It’s just glorified PR
flobaba It's a rough economy out there, no harm in having a side hustle...
Coombs they just wanted to show they have a nice office in London. Probably done on a green screen anyway
jones I just think it's a badly taken photograph
might not even be their office, looks like they did a photoshoot on an empty floor. i'm sure london has commercial vacancy rates around 10% like new york, so they could have been spoilt for choice.
Meatwad yea probably which begs the question the fuck do you need a skyscraper office for to take a photo of a football coach.
