Every time I look at this forum and see this thread still has activity, I just shake my head. I can totally understand people not loving our style of play right now since it definitely is overly pragmatic and not always the easiest on the eyes but I just simply can't wrap my head around Arsenal fans actually thinking it would be a good idea to move on from Arteta.
He has turned us from a banter club to one of the top 5 clubs in the world consistently over the past 3 years. He has turned a very corporate Emirates atmosphere into one of the best atmospheres in Europe for big games and a completely unique pre-match environment for England. Every player talks about how much they respect him and want to play for him. He's one of us and lives and breathes this club and you would want to move on from that for a mercenary? Put some respect on this man's name. We have the most points in the Premier League over the last 3 seasons and look to be on the cusp of finally justifying that with a trophy. I would never say he has the job for life since we saw how things can end with Wenger but he deserves to stay here as long as he wants right now.
