Claudius I should rephrase myself, him being in our first XI has made him a worse team.
I agree that we needed a CF but this guy's profile was completely wrong and I'm shocked that we spent that kind of money on him. I have said before I think he could go to Serie A and do well but the problem with him is physically once he has matched or outmatched he almost becomes redundant. I look at Merino and someone who is has plenty of flaws as a CF but I'd rather play him there over Gyokeres.

Asterix I think there is a fair argument to be made that we seem to have got to a super high level and we are at a point where even a small % improvement would make us champions and we are struggling to find that.
Our summer signings have improved our squad but not our first XI, our squad depth was lacking and we have made improvements in that respect, especially with the crazy number of injuries we have. However not a single one of our signings has proven themselves to be better than what we had. I think that has been the biggest issue for us.
