this came from our tactics deliberately targetting the gap behind Kvara and forcing Nunes to stay back. Despite how that pic looks Saka almost always had an out.

Both of these players transferred in January for very high fees (70+10 for Kvara and 60 for Marmoush). We were never going to spend that kind of money in January on a wide player.

I am interested to see if the club is going to go for the likes of Nico in the summer in addition to a striker (which we will almost definitely sign a striker, i think everyone and their grandmother knows that).

He's better than all our wingers bar Saka, so this would have been a steal. But probably some shady dealings going on and the money must have been so good that he never considered other options.

Look how wide Martinelli is - he's not involved in the slightest. It's too clear we're built around the horseshoe and that Saka will slow this down, drop it to Timber, and we'll begin our inefficient attacking pattern.
