I wonder if they will start Valverde in his preferred CM role and bring Vazquez into the side. If they do that, Martinelli should have more joy in behind as that has been a target for La Liga sides this year. Fran Garcia started on the left yesterday so maybe he will play instead of Alaba against Saka.

We just need to be smart. We had a good balance of attack and defense in the first game and knew when to transition from one to the other. We need to do the same thing. Win the midfield and we win the game.

A CL leg away from home is tough regardless of who we play - Dortmund put 3 past Barcelona tonight and Aston Villa did the same with PSG - so the order of the day is game management. Get to HT 0-0 with a frustrated Madrid team and the Berbenau will turn on them

Yeah, well thats 75% of City Fans (bandwagoners). And IIRC, it came down to the last day of the group stage before they even qualified for the playoff spots. They were dangerously close to crashing out altogether.

Im not even dreaming of anything other than getting to the semis. It would be a great accomplishment for this team and the crazy injuries and ref decisions and all that shit thats been going on this season.

That said, i 100% would love us to (and i quote Major League) Win the whole damn thing!
