This was partly my point. The inference (as I understood it) was that we dominated when in reality, the difference in xG was a single goal. I'm not disputing we were the better team, I'm disputing the fact that this was our best performance in the Emirates era.
I'd add that there's a distinction to be made between performance/result as in terms of the result, it's hard to argue it's one of the best.

Fair enough. My recollection is that we passed it around at the back/middle third a fair but but misplaced passes when we looked to progress in the final third. Perhaps I'm wrong on that but I don't think it really undermines the point I'm making as per the above.
