MLS has been an absolute revelation and his overloading in central midfield (like Zinchenko used to) has been instrumental. Timber needs more pockets to keep the world's best wingers in. Merino has scored as many goals as Watkins probably would have.
Saka playing like he's better than ever - aside from running out of steam which was to be expected. Odegaard looks worryingly off form and I suspect he's still carrying a knock. Kiwior had a couple of brainfarts but we managed to survive them. Raya is such a top goalkeeper both in the air to relieve pressure and with the ball at his feet.
Partey started off drunk but calmed down and was really cute at passing between the lines. Martinelli was dangerous and continued his improved form.
That is the best performance I have ever seen from us. People don't like control ball but for me this is football at it's finest. Dominance all over the pitch while giving the opposition very little sniff.
