Henry the Arteta hater
UCL R16 PSV v Arsenal Tues 4 March 8pm
We can play Kiwior, Nathan Butler, Sterling, Neto etc in the return leg which will be nice. Mikel won't do that but it will allow significant resting for those who need it.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Great player but also an absolute twat.
JazzG careful, that's my GOAT you're talking about.

Big Willie oh, he's a fucking arsehole. Always has been. Still the greatest player I've ever seen though.
Edit: maybe fucking arsehole is a bit strong, I take that back. I'm not a fan though, obvs.
Great result and I was lucky to pick up a ticket to this on Friday when they went up. Now on the last train back to Amsterdam thankfully I was worried about being stranded in Eindhoven. Was a bit of a strange game PSV really didn't look good but we had some moments where we have a lot of chances away that maybe a better team would exploit. You can only beat what's in front of you but feels the bigger tests are still ahead and I don't think it's possible to read to much into this really. The moment Skelly dived in as well was worried. Showed his immaturity in that moment but we got away with it.
JazzG agreed. Playing wise he is our GOAT but he left us to join Barca when we were on the way down. A true, true man/legend stays on (look at Del Piero/Buffon when Juve got relegated). I will never forget.
Beautiful result. I felt like we might have a margin in us, playing in a different competition after a bit of rest. Didn't expect seven goals. Lots of good news stories: Nwaneri, Ødegaard, Calafiori.
That was refreshing to watch (the highlights), might still check for the full game. MLS so lucky. Great impact from the dead and useless Odegaard. Nwaneri matters. Cheeky chip Trossard. PSV was extremely generous with some of their defending/goalkeeping, but we were aggressive and clinical enough to take full advantage. And that Calafiori finish was just
Refreshing. Surprisingly refreshing. Hopefully our goalscoring form translates to the PL
Not one single team in the PL will give us the space that PSV gave us.

I think PSV set out to attack us and thought they didn't have to worry much about " no striker " Arsenal but once we got the two goals they had no clue what to do
Ultimate troll of a season. Never been so exasperated as winning by a 6 goal margin.
Might even have preferred a 1-0 win if the goal was even close to the quality of any goal in the Madrid match.
PSV were horrendous.

invisibleman18 this aged well lol. I imagine you could have got very high odds on us scoring 7! Memories of 5-1 at Inter Milan, a similarly unlikely scoreline when we needed to win to go through.
invisibleman18 "A goal feels impossible"
I read that yesterday and thought "Oh damn, he's right isn't he"

I mean on recent form it did! Had no idea of PSV's similar recent struggles as hadn't bothered to look at their form.
And 5-1 up with 15 minutes to go or whatever it was is really the only acceptable time to bring Sterling on as you can still see out the game with 10 men from there.
invisibleman18 Sterling’s first contribution was to run into 2 men and lose the ball

Claudius if anything sums up his level with us it was that. My only thought at that moment was thank god it doesn't matter here.
invisibleman18 i'm usually very chill, but this is one of the few players who has played for us who actually irritates me. he used to amuse me. but i'm irritated. it's probably less about Sterling the man/player, and more about the circumstances - that the rules prevent us from getting another local loan.
