Sicario2 We just go game by game. Minimise the stress - put the stress on Liverpool.

That's exactly what we've needed to do. Honestly thought we'd be back a bit closer by the the of January but it's been an unpleasant spell.

If Liverpool drop anything in their next two aways, they'll be sweating a little bit and Slot might start to have to do something other than keeping a team of happy front-runners moving.

Burnwinter our league form since we drew at home with Everton (over 2 months ago on 14th of Dec) has been pretty good - we’ve won every game apart from Brighton away and Villa at home.

It feels worse because a) we got knocked out of the cups b) our injuries c)not signing anyone and d) Liverpool not dropping points in two tricky away games to Brentford and Bournemouth esp the former when it was 0-0 in the 90th min.

Let’s say we were knocked out of the carabo cup in round 2 we would be feeling a bit better. Our form in the league has been good but we now have to minmise the draws and depleted front line or not try and go for consecutive wins like post Dubai 2024. Don’t think we’ve won 4 in a row in the league yet this season.

Also, we have a very good window of clawing back points on Liverpool in the next 2 weeks. End of Feb we will know for sure if we are in a title race or not.

lorddulaarsenal makes the most sense to me. Both players have the ability to drive and dribble. And we have lots of depth on the left.

And then it allows us to manage our minutes across centre forward and right wing.

We'd never definitely know we were out of it, but it might be all the way on, that's for sure.
