Mirth we literally planned for Nwaneri. We dumped half our frontline to make space for him. This guy didn’t suddenly appear. He’s largely considered one of the two best young players in England. MLS is the one who really had to fight his way through. What he’s done is probably more impressive given how much quality we have at left back
Mirth To be fair Arteta created a pathway for Nwaneri. He let Vieira go out on loan so Nwaneri would get his minutes. MLS got most of his minutes mainly down to our injury crisis at the back and he took his chance.
That was great fun. I genuinely enjoyed watching with reduced expectations.
