Not really the same when you are looking for a striker who'll need to make a major difference to the first XI. Of course it'll be eaiser to get back up players than €70m+ players who we want to push us from 2nd to champions.
JazzG Mosquera, Norgaard and Kepa for under £30m is really good squad building. Zubimendi is a great addition too. Just need to get the CF and winger sorted now and it'll be a great summer.

Don Pacifico I feel I'm less invested in this 24 hour transfer stuff then maybe some of you 😂but all these posts are the same suggest some update say absolutely nothing other talks are ongoing which anyone could do if they had the time and energy to manage an online account just legacy media links. Most of the actual updates still get broken through the press even if it's marginally slower then the "ITKs"
I skim through and if it's these updates ignore it's just engagement farming rather then ascribe any significance.
Ideally we bring in Eze and then go for a 1v1 transition monster like Gittens, Barcola or Leao. There’s more risk with those guys but you have the backstop in Eze, who can also play in multiple roles. I wish we were in for Gittens but I’m starting to come around on taking a chance on Leao if the price is right. I’m just worried Rodrygo doesn’t have the explosiveness athletically that will help him in the EPL while also not being very strong. I am probably wrong as smarter people than me really rate him but I worry about his physical traits especially when some fans compare his signing to that of Alexis. Alexis was a physical freak whereas Rodrygo seems to be much more skill oriented. Wingers in the EPL tend to succeed more with outlying physical traits IMO.
samthegooner if we get Eze and a LW and Sesko/Gyokeres (in addition to all the signings we are supposed to be doing at midfield and the back) we will win the league. It would be our best window ever and our best squad ever. Fuck city and Liverpool

Pepe LeFrits I think for £70m it'd be well worth it but I do wonder where he'd fit in the team for that price. If we sign him it'd be a real signal of intent, it'd be a message to Odegaard and everyone else that no one is untouchable.
