Takes it with his weaker foot too. Defenders try to wrongfoot him and then he scores with his left instead. Hard to defend against someone who has both the technical and physical ability to create space and doesn't really care which peg the ball lands on.

Don Pacifico I don't see it that way. he's not super quick, nor is he overwhelmingly physical, yet he's able to create enough separation to make things happen in the box. that's the mark of an intelligent player, not a mindless pace and power merchant

All of this is bullshit. Lots of nonsense 'news' and 'breaking'.. We don't conduct our transfer business in the public eye, we very rarely have. Like IBL said, its just clickbait.

Don Pacifico everything is relative. there are strikers out there that are fair bit quicker than him eg haaland, isak, sesko. this ties back to my point - even though he's not in the lightning quick category, his ability to create separation and get shots away is impressive.

The main frustration with this window will be we should know who we are targeting and get it done as soon as we can. Previous seasons we wait forever until the end of the window haggling and then either drop it or have to scramble around. We should be looking to have our players locked in by early July at the latest and accept we might have to pay inflated money to some extent driving for ridiculous bargains is how you get yourself into sterling positions.

It’s only an annoying saga since you’re allowing yourself to get sucked into the 24/7 coverage of it. As @USArsenal said, it’s all agent talk and clickbait. Just don’t follow it as closely and you’ll have a much better time- trust me. I love how we are negotiating with both to give us leverage in negotiations. Neither Leipzig or Sporting can put us on since they know we have an option with the other and both players want Arsenal over other interested parties.

Qwiss I think it's nonsense too, but I also think that the club has to pay up if we really want a striker, whether it's Sesko or Gyökeres or anyone else. Can't risk these deals falling through, and it's not going to get easier to sign anyone once preseason starts. We need to act like a big club and close one of them this month. It's going to be expensive either way; just take the extra few million out of whatever pot Arteta has reserved for more fullbacks.
