I believe the rumour that said we're looking for a leftback before the end of the window. Calafiori is all of a sudden key to the way we play, and he has half a good knee.
Theoretically this should have been an ideal team for Zinchenko to play in, but he's just not much of a footballer unfortunately. And Lewis-Skelly seems miles off from playing like Calafiori, he'd have to change his whole game.
