Look at the impact of getting Gyokeres has done to our fan base. Now add Eze on top and that is serious good energy/momentum going into the new season. The compete opposite of last summer when we got Sterling on the last day.

This amount of investment means the board fully appreciate that next year is crucial. It’s now time to win lads.

Like the rest of you Eze would be wonderful. I'm not convinced we need to spend 80-100m on Rodrygo, plus whatever mammoth wages he would be on. But if Trossard does go then our left side looks a little under done.

I think people are underselling how good Rodrygo is since we don’t get to watch him in England. But he has to really want to come here. If he’s still mopey in a week then just bring in Eze — not quite as much upside but he’d be a quality addition.

getting ink on contracts seems to trigger the next tranch of negotiations. once zubimendi was official, the news of advanced talks for madueke and gyokeres followed soon after. I'm thinking once those 2 are official, we'll be straight onto the eze deal.
